I am currently going through Part 1 of Jay Deiboldt's
Google Slapper method set to release March 3, 2009, and have just finished reading the pdf. Everything so far seems pretty straightforward and makes sense. There is no learning curve that I can tell, and anyone can understand what is being presented in the material.
From everything I've read around the web about Google Slapper both from other marketers promoting the program, a lot of the material here is not new and it is not groundbreaking. This is, in my opinion, a good thing, and here's why.
It works! It's not magic. It takes some work, some effort, some focus, and some persistence. It takes some trial and error. For anyone new to internet marketing, it involves doing strange and unknown things, which is not any different from trying something new in any walk of life. At first it may seem a little overwhelming, but I will tell you as a newbie myself this feeling goes away gradually.
The beauty of
Google Slapper is in its simplicity. It takes the newbie marketer step by step with pdf and videos to get off the ground. It provides direction and gives a much-needed initial boost of confidence to get you going.
So far, so good.
A little about Jay Deiboldt...
When Jay had his first successful sale online, he didn't have a list of subscribers. He didn't even have a bonus to offer people. But it didn't matter, because he was still able to grab commissions on a highly anticipated launch of a popular Clickbank product. He goes into this in depth in the first segment of Google Slapper and he reveals exactly WHY he was able to do it. It's simple and I get it. It's something I've heard over and over- but I get it. I'm starting to realize that a few basic phrases which are thrown around this community and buzzwords that I hear all the time are thrown around for a good reason.
So I'm about done with the first video now and going to move onto the second video in Part 1 of Google Slapper. So far Jay has given a good and easy-to-understand overview of how and why his system works. I will say that so far, while this information is up to date with current times, it is rooted in the same marketing principles that I have seen in Craig Beckta's Secret Affiliate Code, which is the meat and potatoes of my internet marketing education.
Google Slapper Part 1 video 2 is taking me through some setup options in getting started in working on an affiliate campaign. Jay's attention to detail will save the newbie hours in getting things set up right the first time. Whoops! it looks like I have made a mistake on one of my campaigns and now I must go fix it.
So far so good with Google Slapper.
